HOW TO EVALUATE BOOKS Everything can be done off the main (Home) page. Read about a book that interests you, or would be an ideal gift for a friend. To get more details about the book, simply click on the book title, its picture, or the button that says "Read Details". You move to a detailed page that gives comprehensive information, our evaluation of the book, and its value to people. Very few if any other websites give as much information about their books as we do about ours. That's because we are very proud of them -- we've handpicked them as the best you can find on the Internet, the most hard hitting, and the most worthwhile you can buy. We've given you LOTS of information to make a complete evaluation before you buy. From the detailed page, you can read the back cover, you can read our evaluation in the main text of that page, you can see which readership the book is aimed at, you can view the Table of Contents to see the breadth of topics the book covers, and you can even read the Preface of the book, to get an idea of the exciting writing style and great information inside. How many other sites on the Internet give you such comprehensive information before you buy? HOW TO PURCHASE BOOKS From either the detailed page about the book -- or else the main (Home) page -- you can order the book very simply by clicking on the gray button "Add To Cart". If you know you want to buy copies for friends, just type in a different quantity before clicking on the "Add" button (or click repeatedly on the button) to add as many copies as you want. Please note that even if you come back to a page and click on a title again, it will add another copy of the book to your shopping cart. When you have ordered all you want, simply click on the link "Show Cart" or "Check Out" and you will go to our Main Order Page. Here you can change book quantities until you are happy. Be sure to "Total" the book amounts before selecting a Shipping option (or re-Total if you change book quantities). Choose the shipping destination button that applies (either U.S., Canada, or Overseas and Mexico), and then from the pick list beside it, choose a shipping option (speed and cost). Then "Calc" on the right side of it to see the Shipping Costs. Finally click on "TOTAL" to get the grand total of your order. When happy, click the big gray button "Check out on our Secure Server" Only click it once, and wait for a few seconds. You will then be transferred to our maximum security server, where you enter all credit card information in confidence. Security On our Secure Transaction Server, no one gets to see your information -- not even us -- nor is it transferred to our main TrueBooks Server. Therefore, no one can hack in electronically and "steal" your data from us. It's great, and it's very secure. All we see is the same invoice the Secure Server sends to you, and we use your shipping information ONLY to mail the books to you. After that, NO ONE sees or uses your personal data! If you want to make any last minute changes while on the Secure Server, simply press the back button 2 or 3 times to get back to our Main Order Page. Press "Reload" just under the big gray check-out button, make sure your book quantities are right, re-choose shipping, re-total the order, and check out again. It's a snap! The greatest thing about our custom-designed shopping cart, is that, unlike almost 99% of other carts on the Internet, you get to see and adjust all your totals and shipping before you even enter any personal information -- almost no one else provides this convenience! Our system also keeps all your personal data totally separate from the ordering information, since your personal data is only ever given to a Secure Server separate from ours. Publishers & Authors We do not sell books that are also sold and distributed by other booksellers, either on the Internet, or in book stores. Nevertheless, those other sellers may approach us for rights to sell and distribute our titles. You can be sure that if a title is on TrueBooks, it is a unique, original title for which we are the primary distributor. You will also notice that all of our books are very new (all published in 2000), so we are giving you the latest breaking reading! We do not deal directly with authors who wish to submit manuscripts for publication on the Internet. However, several of the book Publishers we deal with are savvy on all the latest technologies and publishing methods -- and they may be interested in considering some exceptional or outstanding books recently authored but not yet published. Since we cannot speak for them, we are providing a "Links" page (see top of this page) where you can link to several of these publishers and find out for yourself if they may be interested in your manuscripts.
